Bovy is a design & build studio based in Puchong, working across Klang and the wider Klang Valley. We are not a designer who hands your drawings to a stranger, and not a contractor who subcontracts the thinking. The team that plans your layout is the same team that hacks, wires, tiles, plasters and installs it.

Klang has a big mix — older double-storey terraces around Klang town and Taman Sentosa that need full rewiring and new plumbing, and newer handovers in Bandar Bukit Raja and Bandar Botanic where owners mostly want kitchen extension, carpentry and a proper wet-and-dry kitchen split.

We have 20 in-house staff and our own factory and office, where aluminium, carpentry and steel work are fabricated for our jobs — so cabinet delays and third-party excuses are not part of the process.

Common questions

How much does a full house renovation cost in Klang?

As a rough guide: RM40–70 per square foot for a light refresh, RM70–130 for a full design and build, and RM130–250 where there are structural changes, stone slabs and custom furniture. Your actual number comes from an itemised quotation after a free site visit — we never quote a lump sum.

How long does a landed renovation take?

Three to five months for a full landed home. Roughly: design and quote 1–2 weeks, wet work and extension 3–6 weeks, wiring and piping 1–2 weeks, ceiling and flooring 2–3 weeks, paint 1–2 weeks, carpentry install 2–4 weeks, then clean and handover. You get a dated schedule with the quotation.

Do you do both the design and the construction?

Yes — that is the whole point of design and build. One studio, one quotation, one handover date. The same team that draws your layout builds it, so there is nobody to pass blame to.

What deposit do you take?

10–20% to start, with the balance tied to milestones and 5–10% held back until you sign off on the snag list. We also give a 12-month workmanship warranty on our work.
